What are the key activities?
Vehicle Assembly and Auto Parts Manufacturing
Ontario's vehicle assembly sector is on a roll, fuelled by a well-earned reputation for consistently superior quality, productivity and innovation. And a successful assembly sector depends on a dynamic parts sector - and Ontario's parts makers deliver top quality products, on time and on budget.
- There are 450+ dynamic parts manufacturers in our auto corridor, including Ontario-based giants Magna, Linamar and The Woodbridge Group. And we attract new suppliers all the time, international firms like Nemak, Toyotetsu, Brose North America and HBPO.
- Similar to vehicle assemblers, parts makers are making substantial investments in the province
Ontario auto plants are consistent winners of both J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study.
