Toronto Financial Services Day in New York 2011

Ontario is an established global leader in financial services with an exceptional talent pool, a cost-efficient business environment and the high-performance ICT services needed to provide secure, seamless, nation-wide and international services. The province has built the world-class entrepreneurial and intellectual capacity needed to drive economic success and competitiveness in this key sector.

One example of our expertise in financial services took place in November 2011 when the province hosted the Toronto Financial Services Day in New York. For the event, high-level leaders of Toronto, Ontario's financial services industry visited New York to introduce the Wall Street community to Toronto as a leading global financial services centre.

This special event attracted over 270 financial sector and government leaders from some of North America's most renowned financial institutions. It gave them an opportunity to explore how successful and growing partnerships between financial services companies in the United States and Canada have strengthened businesses on both sides of the border and around the world.

View highlights of the event in the video below. If you would like us to keep you updated about future events and developments in the financial services or other industries in Ontario, please register for our updates.
