For almost 40 years, Ontario has been at the forefront of discoveries in neuroscience and brain health. From preventing strokes, to discovering the Alzheimer’s gene, to isolating brain cancer cells, the province has many milestones that stand as proof to its unrivalled ecosystem.

The sheer volume of educational institutions, research centres, not-for-profits, start-ups and multinational companies across Ontario supported by access to talent and generous tax, research and funding incentives create the right platform for sector growth.

There are brilliant minds here solving complex problems using technology in imaginative ways. This is where digital media and game theory intersect with brain health to improve outcomes. It’s also where Artificial Intelligence like IBM Watson has joined forces with the Ontario Brain Institute and University Health Network in Toronto to take on Parkinson’s disease.

If you want to be at the forefront of brain health research and commercialization, join us for a meeting of the minds in Ontario.
