From September 29 – October 1st, the global tech community will digitally descend on ConnecTechAsia 2020 – Asia’s largest and most established international IT event.

As an IT hotspot where bold ideas live, 12 companies from Ontario, Canada will be front and centre, showcasing what the province has to offer – both as a location for global expansion and as a one-stop source for high-quality, advanced technologies and services at very competitive prices.

Ontario is home to a vast network of innovative tech firms – 23,000 in fact – powered by a highly-skilled workforce 300,000+ strong. A mosaic of Ontario firms revolutionizing the global tech industry will be on display during ConnecTechAsia:

  • 3dEYE Inc., F8th Inc., Identita and CYDEF tackle areas of cybersecurity, access controls, video surveillance and verifiable security.
  • SSIMWAVE and Videolinq enable customers to level-up their video delivery/live video offerings.
  • Cheetah Networks and Avetti can help with your network optimization and bespoke e-commerce/marketplace needs, respectively.
  • MoviWear will be on hand to showcase its IoT wearables and remote monitoring platforms.
  • C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. offers transportable/mobile satellite-based antenna systems.
  • Mercku’s wireless tech includes mesh Wi-Fi systems and wireless sensing.
  • Applied Brain Research (ABR) provides low power, integrated AI solutions with the highest accuracy at the fastest speed.

From top to bottom, there is a long corridor of tech excellence in Ontario. The number one reason? Our 44 colleges and universities that produce nearly 50,000 STEM graduates annually – providing a constant supply of talent to companies across the entire tech spectrum.

In additional to our homegrown best and brightest, we want more of the world’s top talent and innovative entrepreneurs to consider Ontario. Canada’s friendly, high-speed immigration programs can help to make this a reality.

Layer on our globally-competitive corporate tax rates, attractive savings on after-tax R&D expenditures and our inclusive, connected, and vibrant community culture, and it’s clear to see there’s never been a better time to think Ontario.
