"Toronto is poised to contend as one of the biggest North American hubs for technology startup activity over the next five-10 years."

We really couldn't have said it better ourselves.

In a recent article in TechCrunch, Josh Guttman, Crunch Network Contributor, praises everything Toronto, Ontario has to offer—from our exceptional talent to our creative, entrepreneurial spirit. He discusses, in depth, Toronto's supportive government, affordable healthcare, favourable currency exchange and strong network of venture capital. He also mentions some of our globally recognized homegrown businesses such as Shopify, Kik, Freshbooks, Figure 1 and Vidyard, as well as Toronto's network of accelerators including Communitech and MaRS.

"Most people don't realize Toronto is the fourth-largest city in North America (only New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are larger) and produces the most engineering-focused university graduates each year. There are 150,000 full-time students enrolled in universities throughout the Greater Toronto Area, all within 90 minutes of the city center."

Now that TechCrunch has let the cat out of the bag, we're bracing for even greater interest from those in the know within the world of technology looking to explore Toronto as a destination for innovation and business expansion. Luckily, we have plenty of room.
